More than words...

I’ve made it clear in previous posts on social media, that I very much enjoy words and writing.
However, qualifying as a chartered accountant, and leading a top network of accounting firms, means it’s sometimes nice to look at numbers!
In the past 2 weeks, we have announced 3 new firms, across the 3 continents of Asia, Africa and Europe.
When I became CEO of Russell Bedford International we had just 4 firms in Africa.
3.5 years later, we now have 15 African firms covering 15 countries.
In Europe, looking back to my first month in the role, we were at 52 firms in 29 countries.
We now have 63 firms in Europe in 39 countries. (That’s 10 more European countries... for those who are not so good with numbers!)
And in Asia Pacific, in that same period, our number of firms has increased by 31%, to 21 firms.
As the rock band Extreme once said in their love ballad, “More than words is all you have to do to make it real”.
Not entirely sure that’s grammatically correct... but you get the point: It’s nice to back up your words with impressive statistics!
(I’m certain that’s what the song was about, right?!?)
