Addition of Düsseldorf-based FRTG Group is major boost for Russell Bedford

Russell Bedford, the global network of independent professional services firms, has extended its coverage into the important Rhine-Ruhr metropolitan region with the addition of one of Germany’s top auditing and tax consulting firms, FRTG Group, headquartered in Düsseldorf. This key move comes just weeks after the appointment of a new member in Halle-Westfalen, which joined alongside Russell Bedford’s existing firms in Berlin, Frankfurt am Main, Hamburg, Munich and Stuttgart/Freiburg.

With more than 50 years of history, FRTG Group has grown to comprise a number of well-known audit, accounting and tax consulting practices, including Franz Reißner Treuhandgesellschaft mbH, Hohl Kleinheisterkamp und Partner Partnerschaftsgesellschaft, Ratio Treurat GmbH and FRTG Franz Reißner Steuerberatungsgesellschaft mbH. Together, the practices span more than a dozen offices (including Essen, Krefeld, Wuppertal and Darmstadt) and more than 180 personnel.

Headed by auditor, tax advisor and insolvency practitioner Wolfgang Hohl, FRTG Group is a broadly-based professional services organisation with notable specialisations in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, due diligence, business advice and restructuring, international tax planning, and auditing.

Voted one of Germany’s “TOP Steuerkanzlei” (top tax and accounting firms) in 2014, 2015 and 2016, the group has a diverse client base covering national and international companies of every legal form and size, entrepreneurs, associations, foundations and private individuals.
